Membrane nitrogen generation

Evaluate membrane separation against the actual inerting or protective atmosphere requirement.

Configuration guide for initial discussion. Final models, capacity, dimensions and supply boundaries depend on the confirmed project conditions.

01Define the operating duty

Compare membrane and PSA options at identical conditions. Membranes may suit duties without extremely low residual oxygen requirements. If the purity target changes, reassess usable flow rather than retaining the previous equipment selection.

  • Demand input: Target residual oxygen

02Connect the complete system

Check pretreatment, membrane modules, flow adjustment and analysis as a complete system. Leave filter replacement and servicing space. Use the full annual ambient and inlet temperature range, not an ideal room temperature.

  • Interface input: Inlet temperature range; Demand continuity

03Verify the configuration

Test purity adjustments, demand changes and restarts. Compare costs at equal electricity prices, operating hours and maintenance boundaries. A complete air station cannot be directly compared with a separation unit supplied alone.

This topic supports configuration discussions. Equipment combinations and availability are subject to technical confirmation and contract. The fields below are project inputs, not committed performance specifications.

  • Verification input: Available installation space
