01Connect measurements to the production state
Maintain a continuous operating log that brings together running hours, production shifts, pressure, gas quality indications, changes in demand and alarm times. Use the same measurement locations and units wherever possible, and state whether the equipment was starting, running normally or operating at low load. Comparable records are needed before a change between readings can be interpreted.
02Make maintenance work traceable
When replacing consumables, record the equipment model, part description, compatibility information, date and running hours, together with observations before and after replacement. For an abnormal event, preserve the full alarm information, sequence of events and production state, then follow the equipment documents and site procedures. Maintenance intervals should reflect the specific model and operating conditions. A useful log helps establish whether a change began in the air supply, gas generation process or downstream use.
- Record the time, symptom, person responsible and review outcome for each abnormal event.
- For significant configuration changes, retain the previous setting, reason for the change and approval record.
