01Describe the industrial process
An industrial oxygen inquiry should state whether the gas is intended for water treatment, combustion support, aquaculture oxygenation or another production process. Specify the required flow, pressure and concentration at the point of use. Each application has its own control objectives, so the term oxygen generator alone does not establish suitability. Where liquid oxygen or cylinders are already used, include the current supply arrangement and changes in consumption.
02Confirm performance and application qualifications separately
Manufacturers' industrial PSA oxygen literature describes concentration and flow ranges available for particular systems. It does not mean that every generator delivers the same performance. Confirm the proposed unit through its own technical documents and test results. Industrial application information also does not establish the approvals, quality system or other requirements needed for medical use. This website does not claim medical qualification on that basis. Oxygen pipework, materials in contact with the gas, ventilation and site safety arrangements also require review by suitably qualified professionals.
- Describe the application, continuous or intermittent operation, peak periods and backup supply needs.
- Provide the existing process interfaces and the documented oxygen quality requirements.
