Central nitrogen station

Create supply priorities across workshops with different pressure and quality needs.

Configuration guide for initial discussion. Final models, capacity, dimensions and supply boundaries depend on the confirmed project conditions.

01Define the operating duty

Build a workshop matrix of purity, pressure, cleanliness and tolerated interruption. Identify processes sharing a header and those needing separate regulation, purification or sources. Establish compatibility before centralizing the gas supply.

  • Demand input: Workshop demand matrix

02Connect the complete system

Calculate losses to the furthest point and define branch isolation and metering. Centralization broadens the impact of common failures. Specify priority workshops, maintenance zones and a connection for the backup source.

  • Interface input: Header distances; Supply priorities

03Verify the configuration

Test each zone during representative concurrent demand. Use metering to identify leaks and idle branches. Review new production equipment as a demand change so the station does not operate indefinitely above an unclear capacity limit.

This topic supports configuration discussions. Equipment combinations and availability are subject to technical confirmation and contract. The fields below are project inputs, not committed performance specifications.

  • Verification input: Zone metering requirements
