01Define the process requirement
Demand depends on material, temperature, process stage and other gases. Obtain approved atmosphere conditions and define nitrogen's role. Materials that may react with nitrogen require specific compatibility review before the gas route is selected.
- Project input: Material and temperature
02Connect the source to the use point
Build demand schedules for displacement, heating, holding, door opening and cooling. Define furnace-control interfaces. Where interruption is unacceptable, design source, backup, pressure sensing and alarms together and establish the maintenance window before commissioning.
- Interface input: Demand by process phase
03Validate the result and scope
Combine source and furnace measurements with sample properties; brightness alone is not complete acceptance. Retain batch-linked gas records. Reassess conditions after changes in material or furnace temperature rather than automatically keeping previous gas settings.
For a project assessment, provide material and temperature, demand by process phase, atmosphere composition and batch quality. These inputs define comparable equipment scope and acceptance conditions. This page is application-planning guidance, not a customer case or a claim of completed work.
- Validation input: Atmosphere composition and batch quality
