01Define the process requirement
Specify furnace type, conveyor configuration, board width and throughput, and obtain the manufacturer's inlet requirements. Source oxygen and soldering-zone oxygen are different measurements. Keep both in the specification to distinguish supply and furnace responsibilities.
- Project input: Furnace type and operating quantity
02Connect the source to the use point
Separate warmup displacement, batch production and standby demand. Assess simultaneous furnace starts and unnecessary pipe losses. Choose representative sample locations and retain gas-flow records alongside temperature profiles, output and furnace-opening conditions.
- Interface input: Soldering-zone oxygen target
03Validate the result and scope
Test with stable materials and process settings, recording atmosphere, joints and defect categories. More nitrogen does not resolve every defect. Paste, thermal profile and board design still need independent review within the actual process window.
For a project assessment, provide furnace type and operating quantity, soldering-zone oxygen target, startup and standby consumption. These inputs define comparable equipment scope and acceptance conditions. This page is application-planning guidance, not a customer case or a claim of completed work.
