01Calculate compatible air demand
Use the generator's feed-air requirement at the specified product quality and flow. Add other air users and the relevant treatment regeneration demand. Make sure all volume figures use compatible reference conditions before comparing them with compressor output.
02Review the operating range
An adequate peak capacity does not guarantee suitable operation at minimum demand. Examine compressor loading control, storage and the generator's cyclic air draw. Check the pressure available at the generator during switching and during simultaneous factory demand.
03Verify with coordinated records
Record air pressure, compressor state, power and product quality on a common time base. Repeated pressure swings or frequent loading transitions may reveal a control or storage mismatch. Correct the identified cause through the suppliers' review rather than increasing capacity solely from a nameplate comparison.
