01Check the evidence first
Record residual oxygen, flow, pressure, analyser status and the time the change began. Review recent calibration or sampling work. If a second measurement is used, compare it under compatible conditions rather than treating its first reading as definitive.
02Look for coincident operating changes
Higher product demand, reduced feed pressure or an air-treatment fault can change output quality. Align these signals with the onset of the event. Distinguish a persistent shift from a brief startup or demand-related disturbance.
03Escalate with a focused record
Provide the supplier with the trends, alarm log and recent maintenance history. Keep gas-release decisions within the approved operating procedure. After corrective work, verify sustained quality at the relevant demand rather than concluding from one recovered display value.
