01Define the requested quantity
A total gas-flow requirement and an oxygen-content requirement are different. If the process calculation is expressed as oxygen quantity, the product concentration matters when translating it into total supply flow. Use compatible reference conditions and a clearly stated concentration basis.
02Include transfer or process efficiency
For aeration or oxygen addition, gas leaving the generator is not necessarily oxygen absorbed by the process. The transfer equipment and operating conditions determine that relationship. Obtain the required feed specification from the process designer rather than assuming all generated oxygen is effective.
03Record acceptance separately
Check the oxygen package for flow, concentration and pressure at its delivery boundary. Validate the process result using its own agreed indicators. This separates a supply shortfall from a transfer or process-control problem and makes the responsibilities visible before purchase.
