01Recovering pressure within the cycle
Some PSA designs transfer gas between vessels during pressure equalization. This manages pressure changes and can recover part of the gas or pressure otherwise lost during regeneration. Its effect depends on the complete valve sequence and vessel arrangement.
02Read synchronized trends
When investigating a cycle problem, align the vessel pressures with valve commands and product quality. A pressure trace without a common time base cannot reliably show whether a valve responded at the intended point. Preserve the original controller settings in the diagnostic record.
03Respect the validated sequence
Changing equalization duration can affect both recovery and quality. Such changes require the manufacturer's review and controlled verification across the intended load range. A quieter cycle or a temporary flow increase does not demonstrate that the revised sequence is acceptable.
