01Normalize the duty first
Issue the same quality, flow, pressure, ambient and duty-cycle requirements to each supplier. Mark whether proposed figures are nominal, expected or contractually guaranteed. Do not compare capacities quoted at different purity levels as equivalent offers.
02List inclusions explicitly
Check air compression, drying, filtration, receivers, analysers, controls, boosters, installation and commissioning. Record site work and utilities expected from the buyer. A lower quoted price may correspond to a smaller supply boundary rather than a less expensive complete installation.
03Evaluate lifetime obligations
Include representative energy, service consumables, spare parts, backup arrangements and acceptance support. Keep assumptions and exclusions visible beside the price. Request clarification for blank cells before ranking proposals, especially where a missing item affects safe operation or production continuity.
