01Identify affected users
List consumers that require continuing gas, a controlled process stop or a maintained atmosphere. Ask the process owner to define those needs and their timing. Do not assume that stopping the generator and stopping every downstream process are equivalent actions.
02Prepare the supply transition
If backup is needed, confirm its available quantity, flow, quality and transfer arrangement under the approved plan. Coordinate equipment shutdown with qualified personnel and manufacturer instructions. Include monitoring and communication responsibilities while the normal station is unavailable.
03Define restart release
Plan the checks needed before gas returns to each process. Record maintenance or configuration changes made during the outage. The shutdown is complete only when the system and affected users have been restored under the agreed quality and operational conditions.
