01List the electrical loads
Provide voltage, frequency, starting characteristics, connected loads and relevant protective requirements from each equipment supplier. Include dryers, cooling equipment, boosters and analysers. Confirm the site supply and cable route with qualified electrical personnel before installation.
02Define signal ownership
For each remote start, demand signal, alarm and permissive, identify the sender, receiver, electrical or network interface and expected behaviour on failure. A point named ready is ambiguous unless both parties agree what conditions it represents.
03Test the agreed sequence
Use a documented commissioning plan for normal start, loss of permissive and relevant fault conditions. Preserve settings and interface drawings in the handover file. Remote supervision should not be assumed to replace the local protective functions required by the equipment design.
