01Quantify the heat duty
Compressors, motors and auxiliaries can reject substantial heat into a station room. Obtain the relevant equipment heat-load and ventilation requirements. Review whether inlet and exhaust paths can short-circuit, especially where several units discharge warm air into a confined area.
02Assess released gases
Normal regeneration or permeate streams and credible leaks may alter the local atmosphere. Their composition, quantity and discharge location need a qualified assessment. A fan selected only from a heat calculation does not demonstrate control of oxygen deficiency or enrichment.
03Maintain the design conditions
Include blocked louvers, seasonal doors and future partitions in the operating review. Confirm alarms and maintenance responsibilities where the design requires them. If the room configuration changes, revisit both thermal and gas-release assumptions rather than relying on the original ventilation label.
