01Choose the decision location
A sample at the generator outlet verifies the package; a sample at the process connection checks the delivered gas after distribution. Identify which acceptance or diagnostic question each port will answer. Avoid placing every port where installation is easiest.
02Consider the measurement system
Provide the analyser supplier with pressure, temperature, required response time and expected concentration range. Sample materials, pressure reduction and line length can influence the reading. Plan a suitable sample-discharge destination, particularly for nitrogen-rich or oxygen-rich streams.
03Provide maintainable access
Locate valves and connections so trained personnel can use the approved sampling procedure without awkward temporary arrangements. Label the port and include it on the drawing. Record sample conditions with results so future tests can reproduce the intended measurement basis.
