01Choose a stable reference
Use a period with known equipment condition and representative production. Compare similar loads, quality targets and inlet conditions. A rise in energy during a higher-purity production campaign is not necessarily evidence of mechanical deterioration.
02Look across connected signals
A growing filter pressure loss, changed cycle response and quality drift can point toward different service needs. Align trends with maintenance and alarm events. Examine the pattern before assigning a root cause to the first signal that looks unusual.
03Turn observations into work
Define a focused inspection or measurement that can confirm the suspected issue. Record who reviews the evidence and when. After corrective work, compare the same signals again; an unexplained return to normal is weaker closure than a documented cause and verified correction.
